Passing of Steve Swan

Born 07/13/1981 at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas and tragically taken from us 06/19/2008.

Spent his early childhood in Garland, moved to Celina with his family in 1994, then to Frisco in 2003. Homeschooled. Attended Collin County Community College and University of Texas at Dallas. Earned an Associate of Science degree and was just a few hours short of his Bachelors degree. Worked as a Senior Security Specialist for Ellipse Inc. in Dallas, as well as working with his close friend Matthew Butler at Zion Gate Records in Garland. Steve also did some independent technical consulting work. Moved to Carrollton in January 2008.

He was charming, witty, intelligent, creative, and many other things, but managed to remain humble. He loved his family, his Lord, and his country. He is survived by his parents Craig and Jean, his siblings Deborah and Michael, his grandparents Ruth Lewis and Merton and Ann Swan, and aunts and uncles Mary Lewis, Scott and Janet Lewis, Dan and Peggy Barr, and Kevin and Cathy Swan, and several cousins. We will all miss him and look forward to seeing him later in our heavenly home.
