The Texas Rangers Division has dedicated personnel to coordinate multi-agency Border Security operations, at Joint Operation Information Centers (J.O.I.C.s) located along the Texas/Mexico border. This is intended to enhance the efforts of Homeland Security, the Texas Department of Public Safety and regional and local agencies in securing the US-Mexican border.
