Welcome from
Texas Rangers Company "D"
Capt. Gerardo De Los Santos, Commanding

Welcome to the Company “D” web page.

Geographically, Company “D” is comprised of 29 counties with Real and Uvalde being the western most counties and all counties east to Lavaca and south to Kenedy County. With the new addition of Company “G” on January 1, 2008, eleven (11) counties formerly Company “D”s bordering the Rio Grande River from Webb south to Cameron and Willacy are now a part of Company “G”.   Company “D” Headquarters continues to be in San Antonio.

Company “D” is commanded by a Captain, with a Lieutenant stationed in San Antonio, and another Lieutenant stationed in Corpus Christi.  Each Lieutenant supervises seven (7) Ranger Sergeants for a total of fourteen (14) Ranger Sergeants who are stationed in various locations throughout the company area.

Company “D” Rangers are a mixture of seasoned veterans and newly appointed members.  As a result of the restructuring of the Unsolved Crimes Investigation Team (UCIT), Company “D” as well as the rest of the companies, has one (1) Ranger Sergeant designated as the “Cold Case” Ranger who works entirely on nothing but unsolved homicides/major crimes within the company’s geographic boundaries unless an emergency arises.  Each member of this Company as well as all Rangers in the State, consistently displays integrity, loyalty and dedication to the Texas Ranger Division and to the great people of Texas.

Thank you for your interest.
